Marco Ambrosini

I received my master’s degree in theoretical physics from Scuola Normale Superiore and University of Pisa. During this period, I visited Julian’s group in Geneva and, after leaving the shadow of the Leaning Tower, decided to stay there as a PhD. My research focuses broadly on holography, quantum gravity and quantum chaos. Some of my recent interests include the role of Krylov complexity in lower-dimensional models of holography, understanding how gravity emerges from ensemble averages, and leveraging connections between free probability and von Neumann algebras for spacetime reconstruction.
