Quantum tomography and transport statistics of spin entanglement in quantum dot systems

We have investigated the statistical properties of spin transport in hybrid ferromagnetic quantum dot systems, focusing on signatures of spin entanglement detectable via a tomographic reconstruction of the transported two-particle state. An effective quantum master equation has been derived and one and two-particle charge transfer processes have been identified from the full statistical description of the transport. As an important application, the developed approach will help to identify and investigate entanglement production in quantum dot Cooper pair splitters, recently realized experimentally
